We're a ringin' in the new year with Grandpa Lampshade's Thoughts of the Day, New Year's Day edition. A new year means reflecting back and looking forwards and that's what we're going to do this week. We're going to reflect on where we've been and where we are going. In that vein, we'll be discussing IRL activities, both from the past and in the future. This will probably be a segment that angers many listeners, but it's always been my goal to speak the truth as I see it even when it’s not what you want to hear.
We often look admiringly towards the NSDAP and their accomplishments, however we shouldn't think they simply did what they did for no reason. They had goals for the things that they did and the way that they did them. The actions they took were solely for the purpose of accomplishing those goals. Likewise, our actions should also be for accomplishing the goals we've set out for ourselves.
Some ring in the new year with whiskey, beer and song. We ring in the new year with a brand new sermon in the Church of the Lampshade. This week we will discuss the importance of not falling into the same trap as those who lead the modern cuck church, namely seeking the praise and the approval of men vs the approval of God. We will look at two contrasting examples of this in the example of Simon the sorcerer vs John the baptist. The trap of seeking the approval of men is one that is very easy to fall into but be warned, this path ultimately leads to receiving neither the approval of men or the approval of God.
We have a new year to look forward to which means new challenges as well as new opportunities. We will have victories this year and we will no doubt have set backs as well. However whether they be highs or lows, we will gather here as we have been to discuss, reflect, learn and move forward on Grandpa Lampshade's Thoughts of the Day.
