Sven Longshanks looks at the unintended consequences of the new army recruitment campaign that has led to it’s poster boy resigning and calls from UK politicians to ban the word ‘nazi’.
Prominent anti-Brexit campaigner and conservative traitor Anna Soubry was heckled yesterday by Brexiteers chanting ‘Soubry is a nazi’ and ‘liar, liar, liar’ while she was doing an outdoor interview with the BBC.
Since then the police have been called upon by MPs to do more to protect MPs from their own citizens and to arrest people for calling others ‘nazis’.
This is of course quite hilarious since it is usually Nationalists that are being called nazis and any ban on the word will mainly result in the supporters of Soubry being arrested, rather than the much maligned ‘far right’ that are being blamed for the heckling.
The new army recruitment campaign (covered in Aryan Britannia) is aimed at young people and appears to have completely misunderstood that the term ‘snowflake’ is a pejorative.
Far from causing people to join up, the featured soldier in the advert for ‘snowflakes’ has resigned in disgust and is suing the MOD, after constant mocking and ridicule.
To make matters worse the Ministry of Defence appears to have joined in with the bullying, by publicly claiming the soldier knew full well he was going to be called a snowflake and even volunteered for the position.
Just how out of touch do you have to be, to think calling anyone a snowflake is going to appeal to them?
