It's time once again for the most thought provoking show on the internet, Grandpa Lampshade's Thoughts of the Day. As we open the podcast this week, I was pondering on the vast amount of money we waste pretending to educate blacks. We act as though Tyrone the thug is going to become an upstanding citizen if we just throw enough money at him. This has never worked but the reality is just too unpleasant for most people to face, so march along with the charade they do.
Staying with this same topic, we'll compare instead how the Jews in Israel treat black Africans who show up at their border seeking to enter their society. They actually put them into camps and sterilize them before shipping them back to Africa. Don't get me wrong, on this I agree with the Jews but let's contrast that with what the Jews everywhere else demand that we do.
So where does all of this lead? What do the trends look like? I'll take my best guess but as things stand, I don't think most of you are going to like the answer.
The Church of the Lampshade convenes once again as we discuss the fact that the day and the hour are unknown when it comes to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Once again we are covering a Bible passage that is quite familiar but attempt to take a look at it from a different perspective. How many of you come away from that warning with the mind set that you don't want Jesus to catch you red handed sinning? Isn't this silly? While of course we look and watch for the return of Jesus, too many also take this as some sort of "out" as it were, that they aren't required to do anything but wait for Jesus as long as Jesus doesn't come back and find them sinning. I believe that one of the worst things that you can contemplate is Jesus returning to find you doing nothing.
Thought provoking discussion, based Christianity and plenty of lulz, it's what this show is all about. Once you start listening, I can almost guarantee that you will come back for more time and again and that's okay because you know you can always find us right here, every Tuesday for Grandpa Lampshade's Thoughts of the Day.
