Grandpa Lampshade's Church of the Lampshade, episode 2 comes to you once again this week.
The new show is starting to shape up and come together as it gets closer to how I envisioned it being. I believe this second instalment is even better than the first and it's very much my intention for each and every show to improve as we focus on and search together for the truth.
Everyone likes to hang out before church starts and visit about the topics of the day and it's no different here at the Church of the Lampshade. We're going to discuss some of the items and hot topics that are in the news this week as well as some of my plans for moving forward.
As we do head into this week's sermon, our overriding theme is "In this world, not of this world". As Christian believers, we're all quite familiar with this phrase. However what does it mean? What does it actually look like? How do we know we're actually living our lives in accordance with this view and not being sucked into living as a part of this world? We'll discuss that in this week's sermon.
Thank you again to all of you who are joining us for the show. With the Lord's blessing, I am hoping it will expand and grow to be a light of truth in this world of darkness and lies.
