Sven Longshanks and Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson discuss Trumps demands that Israel drop China in exchange for his recognition of Golan Heights.
Trump has been threatening to cut security ties with Israel, if they wont stop working with China.
Israel has been playing both sides here, allowing China to take on huge infrastructure projects, while allowing the American fleet to dock at Haifa.
The issues are that any Chinese company will be working closely with the Israeli government, which may give them access to security and intelligence data.
Involvement in ports and rail that are close to military bases gives China the opportunity to spy on them, especially if they have access to cellular, fibre optics, radio and cameras.
This is the first time America has threatened Israel, albeit indirectly.
