Sven Longshanks andMatt Johnson discuss the scandalous claims against Russia that go unquestioned due to a lack of experienced journalists and no official foreign bureaus.
With the collapse of the legacy media due to it’s Left wing bias the newspaper foreign bureaus have had to close because of lack of funding.
The average age of a journalist has also dropped to just 27, as senior reporters and genuine correspondents can no longer be afforded.
This has led to a vicious circle which results in even more fake news and Left wing bias, as the media use official press releases and activist propaganda to plug the gap.
In particular this has affected Russia, with nobody questioning the russophobic narrative apart from RT.
This week we have heard how a German MP for the AFD‘could be absolutely controlled by the Kremlin’, that wishing to preserve the sovereignty of other nations is just a ‘dirty Russian idea’ and that Russians dragged Maduro from his escape plane in order to foil America’s coup in Venezuela.
All of these and others could easily be disproved, but since there are no foreign correspondents left in the countries that are targeted, America is free to say whatever it likes.
