Grandpa Lampshade looks at the hero worshipping that occurs on Memorial Day, before getting into the importance of being a watchman for our people.
In our pre-sermon discussion we will be discussing last weekend’s Memorial Day. This is where we are supposed to do our hero worship routine for those who died for our freedoms, hot dogs and barbecue or something.
We are going to explain the truth out about all these pointless wars, but also show where it is not necessarily prudent to be pointing these truths out.
Next up we will be talking about socialism in America as both the so called left and right don't really understand the term. This wound up being a bigger topic than I anticipated so we will be a bit late getting this week's sermon started.
When we finally get the sermon going we will be discussing the obligation of the watchman as described in the book of Ezekiel. We will also continue our Meaning of Life series and go through a bit more of the book of Ecclesiastes.
