Sven Longshanks and Dennis Wise look at an article written by Josef Goebbels for Der Angriff that laid out Germany’s problems and what the Nationalist Socialist solutions to them were.
Goebbels talks about the illusion of peace and prosperity for some, while three million Germans were out of work.
They demanded work be provided for them, if necessary in building new homes for Germans only and by improving the the country’s infrastructure.
People who were not German, had been given a say in how the country was run and the National Socialists insisted only Germans be given that right.
These problems are the same as the ones we face today and the solutions haven’t changed either.
