The Jews in America may not care how much he supports the Zionist enterprise, but the Evangelicals love him for it, as they see the country as part of Biblical prophecy.
Thanks to the Schofield bible and other spurious Evangelical translations, the Jews have been transformed from being the antichrist into Israel, a name which the church itself had claimed for millennia.
The Evangelicals even see Jesus as being a Jew, which is the definition of idolatry. Trump is simply using this for his own benefit to help get himself re-elected and it seems to be working.
