The FPO did not do as well as hoped, but still got enough votes to be possible coalition partners with the winning People’s Party.
They have stated they would rather be in opposition though and Strache has resigned in order to let them make a fresh start.
Is this just them playing hard to get, or would they really be better off out of the coalition, since it was only The People’s Party that actually benefited from the last one?
