Senior Nationalist Mr I talks to Sven Longshanks about his village being bombed during the war and a scandal that was hushed up in order to get Roosevelt re-elected.
After the coalition government was elected with the slogan ‘Peace in Our Time’ Churchill suspended Parliament and prevented the British from voting him out.
He then negotiated with Roosevelt behind Chamberlain’s back to get American support in the war, when Britain was no longer able to prosecute the war and was offered an honourable peace by a victorious Hitler after Dunkirk.
He then delayed the trial of a man called Tyler Kent where this information would have come out, to prevent Americans finding out and it harming Roosevelt’s chance at re-election.
The war then hit Britain and Mr I remembers seeing dead airmen, bombs hitting the field at the bottom of his garden and him and his school pals hunting for souvenirs.
