Putin claims the Poles started it by having an ‘anti-semitic’ envoy to Germany, while the Poles say Russia started it by signing the Molotov/Ribbentrop pact.
The language has got quite spicy and Putin is now threatening to set up an open-to-all archive proving 'the truth' of the war, as told by the very best Soviet forgers.
