Giant grotesque Jews, Ku Klux Klan ghosts, Nazi officers with zyklon canisters and a parade in black face, it’s amazing that this carnival manages to continue each year.
It has lost it’s UNESCO heritage status, but that doesn’t seem to bother them and even inspired one of the anti-woke floats.
