Dr Matthew Raphael Johnson joinsSven Longshanks to highlight the case of Daniel Kleve, a White student at Nebraska university who has been targeted for a harassment campaign. This university is the same one that Dr Johnson studied at and which also employed him to teach there once he had finished his studies, yet they have not even responded to his letters about this.
Daniel is a biochemistry student, his political views have nothing to do with his studies and he has not been politically active at the university, yet the school board has seen fit to encourage the basketball team to all wear jerseys targeting him. They have also arranged a candle-lit vigil, in the hope that it would intimidate him into leaving. The local newspaper has been running features on the evil white supremacist nazi, complete with unverified reports from minorities claiming they feel threatened by him.
Clearly this is targeted harassment and bullying, sanctioned by the university itself and hopefully he will be able to sue them for breaching their own rules on discrimination. Until that happens, he would appreciate letters of support being sent to the university and the media that have been demonising him, particularly the Daily Nebraskan.
