Sven Longshanks and Max Musson discuss the lifting of the UK lockdown and the partisan politics it is exposing, before beginning a presentation on Sir Ranulph Fiennes, the world’s greatest living explorer.
England has partially lifted the the lockdown, but the devolved administrations are keeping theirs, so on top of having to deal with the pandemic Boris now has to deal with a fractured union.
He also has to deal with people wanting to protest the lockdown and once again, the police have been heavy handed in dispersing protesters and even threatened a Breitbart journalist with arrest for covering the event.
The schools will be the first to open, but while the private schools have all continued their education of pupils online, the state schools have refused to do so because ‘disadvantaged’ pupils might not have a computer.
Once again ‘equality’ turns out to mean the lowest possible standard for all, rather than encouragement of the best to be the best.
One man who has strived to be the best and achieved it, is Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who despite being in the twilight of his life is still going on polar expeditions and climbing the world’s highest mountains.
