Grandpa Lampshade deals with anxiety this week before looking at the lessons we can learn from Samson.

You have no doubt been anxiously awaiting the return of The Church of the Lampshade. Well, be anxious no more, it’s back! The Church of the Lampshade comes to you once again for yet another insightful discussion of the world around us. No one can deny that we are living through tumultuous times. As a result, it is only natural that we might feel fearful or to be more specific; anxious. While it is normal to feel this way, one would do well to take heart in the fact that at least you have an idea as to why this is happening and where this is going. Imagine how much worse it must be for normies who have suddenly awoken to a shocking surprise. If these times are trying for you who have been warning about and seeing this coming for years now, how much worse it must be for those who ignored those warnings and believed things would just continue as they always have! GPL brings the hot tips for getting through it all and dealing with those feels of anxiety in yourself, as well as coping with the normies around you who pretty much have no idea what is really going on.

In the Christian specific segment this week the Reverend Lampshade goes OT and discusses the story of Samson. GPL opens with the question, “Where did Samson’s strength come from?” and while pretty much everyone is familiar with the story, the odds are that most will get the answer wrong. Don’t feel bad because in the end, Samson himself also got the question wrong.

Scripture references will be Judges 13:1-5 as well as Judges 16:16-21.

As always, an hour (or so lulz) will fly by before you know it. However hopefully at the end of the show, you will have been presented with a different perspective on these topics than you had before. This isn’t to take away from the perspective you had, but instead to build upon it and gain a better understanding of the world around us as you walk in your Christian faith. It’s what we strive for each week as the congregation gets together at The Church of the Lampshade.
