After the Hebrews became Christian, those left behind became Jews and codified the Talmud.
Around 1200AD the Rabbis started forming secret societies in which to study esotericism, which became the Kabbala.
Around 1650 Sabbatai Zevi followed this system and announced himself the Jewish Messiah, reversing many of the Jewish traditions at that time.
Jacob Frank followed in 1750 and because the Kabbalists rejected the Talmud, the Frankists were welcomed by Christians.
This led to the Church being corrupted with similar beliefs, alongside a further cross-pollination with Freemasonry.
