Sven Longshanks and Max Musson look at reasons for our failure to deal with coronavirus before continuing the presentation on Isembard Kingdom Brunel.

The Far East looks at the effects of the virus in a completely different way to us, they see it as only killing 0.3% of their people, whereas we see it as killing 100% of an individual.

The new strain was entirely predictable as viruses like this regularly mutate, which is why we have never bothered developing a vaccine for the common cold.

Boris Johnson’s failure to deal with the virus and his failure to properly deliver on Brexit could be the final nail in the coffin of the Tories.

Isembard Kingdom Brunel was tasked with building the Great Western Railway, which he envisaged as continuing all the way to New York via steam ships.

He went on to build one record-breaking ship after another in order to do this, but it wasn’t until after his death that it really became economically viable.

He also had innovative ideas about using vacuum pressure, but was defeated in his plans for this by the common rodent.
