It looks like the Capitol was deliberately left unguarded leaving a temptation for protesters to take the protest right into the heart of it.
One unarmed White female was shot dead by police and three others died of medical emergencies, possibly after falling from the scaffolding.
Rather than give weight to the demands for a full audit of the contested votes, the attempted occupation just gave Senators who were supporting the cause all the excuse they were looking for to back down.
