With the country locked down there isnt much happening other than vaccine news and a Jewish wedding getting shut down.

Jacob Rees-Mogg did give a good speech where he mentioned General Gordon and how last year’s attacks on statues has led to a renewed interest in the history of our heroes, something we pre-empted here at Radio Albion with our Greatest Britons series begun in October 2019.

This week’s Greatest Briton is General Sir Redvers Henry Buller, a man so well liked by the British public that they paid for a statue to be made of him while he was still alive.

Buller was awarded the Victoria Cross and helped put a stop to human sacrifice by helping defeat the Ashanti empire in Africa.
