Sven Longshanks and Grandpa Dan discuss the real reasons for the chaotic scenes coming out of Texas during the big freeze.
The national tv networks have been blaming Texas’ independent power grid for the rolling blackouts, but the real reasons are frozen windmills and snow covered solar panels.
It is also a once in a century occurrence, so to put protocols in place to prevent blackouts would be an unnecessary obstacle 99% of the time.
The urbanites have been unable to cope, not knowing where to even turn the water off, while the rural folk have been getting on just fine.
