Trotsky did not start out believing in violence, but he was a Freemason from a young age and Grande Orient Freemasonry played a large role in his preparations for revolution.
He was an expert propagandist and it was his work on the newspaper ‘The Beginning’ that brought him to the attention of Max Warburg of the House of Warburg.
