The best way to appeal to them is to do what the mainstream parties do, offer them bread and circuses. So unless we want to become like them, it is better that we aim at the 5% that are capable of thinking for themselves. The Alt-Right is more of a think tank than anything else and that is where it’s strength lies, in deconstructing the Leftist narrative through the many high quality people involved in it. If you have too many lightweight intellects around, then the best voices will be drowned out. If you compromise on principles, then you will reach more people but what is the point, when the best voices will be drowned out.
There are four stages that most people go through, a stage where they just do whatever they are told, a stage where they indulge themselves in hedonism, a stage where they become cynical and mock and criticise everything and a stage where they finally see the truth and become a fanatical promoter of it. This last group are the smallest group and they are the people who have the most courage and are prepared to stand out from the crowd for what they believe in. These are the people that we need, these are the people who are capable of making change take place. They are worth a thousand of the type that are stuck at the first stage, because they have integrity and they know why they have to fight. It is this that is attractive to people and it is why people like Jeremy Corbyn and Nigel Farage are successful. Both of them are promoting ideals with foundations of sand, but they are both successful because they have consistency and integrity.
