Sven Longshanks and the Patriart look at the evidence for Cornish tin fuelling the Mesopotamian bronze age.
Tin used to be found by panning for it, before it was mined in the form of cassiterite.
It was then mixed with copper to make the much stronger and more malleable bronze, but there were no tin resources anywhere near the fertile crescent.
Cornwall in Britain had the largest tin and copper resources in the world at this time and the evidence points to it having come from there.
