Sven Longshanks and Max Musson discuss the portrayal of Colin Jordan in Ridley Road and Captain Scott’s crew for the Discovery expedition.
Ridley Road is the story of Colin Jordan’s National Socialist Movement as told through the eyes of Searchlight magazine and Jordan’s other opponents.
Jordan is made out to be a sinister figure building his own army and it cannot be a coincidence that the Times did a big expose on PA’s health and fitness clubs on the same weekend it premiered.
Captain Scott insisted on ground rules before he accepted the role of Captain and each crew member was picked as much for their character, as for their qualifications.
