Sven Longshanks looks at the response to a poster campaign and highlights the reason for it.
The ‘Its OK to be White’ posters are in the news again after being investigated by the Police as a ‘hate incident’.
Instead of understanding the clear implication that we are being told it is not ok to be White, the press are pretending it means it is not ok to be anything other than White.
The need for someone to restore White people’s sense of pride could not be clearer, when in the same news source we are being told it is not ok to be a celebrated painter of the classics, because you might have lived at the time when Black people were picking fruit for their keep.
