Sven Longshanks looks at a woman who thinks she made a physics breakthrough simply because she was a woman and the bizarre case of a man with no penis, accused of sexual assault with a penis.
Prof Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell was given an award as part of a group for a physics breakthrough back in 1974 but since the rest of the group were men, she has now been given the same award separately in a desperate attempt to find women involved in physics. She has decided to give the millions she has received in prize money to scholarships for Blacks, refugees and women, as she feels certain that the only reason the sciences are not 50% women, is because they are deliberately being kept out by unconsciously racist and misogynistic professors.
She also seems to believe that the only reason she made the breakthrough in the first place, is because she was a woman. This is exactly why women are no good at science, they confuse cause with correlation. The fact she believes that highly educated people do not pick the most qualified person for the position, but just look for someone who looks the same as them says more about the way she thinks than the reality of the situation. Nobody would deliberately not pick the best person for the job, that only happens when you pick people for irrelevant things such as skin colour or gender.
There was a very bizarre court case in Scotland this week, where a woman who claimed she was a man was found guilty of sexual assault, because she used a prosthetic penis when sleeping with her consenting partners. Her birth certificate had been changed to say she was male, along with everything else on paper, so according to the law she was a man. However she was charged with sexual assault, because her prosthetic penis, which the courts described as a ‘flesh and blood penis’ was not attached to her body. Whether it was attached to her body or not, it could still only be a prosthetic penis, so what makes this a sexual assault, when unknowing sex with a transgender isn’t? If this was sexual assault, then why was it not reported as rape? We are going to see many more cases like this that contradict all common sense in the future, after the British government make it legal for anyone to change their gender without even a doctor’s confirmation that they are transgender.
