Sven Longshanks looks at calls for universities to pay reparations to Africans whose ancestors were expected to work for their upkeep on historic American plantations.
When you purchase something, you usually expect to pay for the item once and once only, but in the case of the negro, they seem to expect the White man to keep paying over and over again for the same product.
Negro human resources were bought fair and square by the slave masters from African chiefs, they were then paid for again when the slaves were freed and now a university in London is demanding that they be paid for again with a fund for Black students.
It is alleged that much money was made from the work the slaves did, but what about the money the tribal chiefs made out of the initial deal? They had no costs whatsoever in producing their product, it was all clear profit that they made on it. Why aren’t western negroes demanding the money back from Africa, back from their own people who sold them?
The White man ransomed the negro from the tribal chiefs and rewarded him with clothing, food, heating and accommodation, as well as taught him to read and write, why is that seen as something bad? How dare they demand the money back.
The fact that the slave owners donated huge amounts of money to universities proves how kind-hearted they were, they were not the sort of people to mistreat anyone, they literally saved the negro captives from certain doom in Africa and have been accused of kidnapping for doing so!
