Sven Longshanks talks about the Jihadi Bride Shemima Begum in Syria being given legal aid when she is not even British and the True Finns civic nationalist party very nearly winning the election in Finland.
The Jihadi bride is in the news again, she has been exposed as a leading member of the Islamic State’s virtue police, forcing women to wear the hijab and men to grow beards. She also used to sew the explosives into the suicide belts of the bombers, yet she is still being portrayed as the poor schoolgirl who was groomed by the BBC.
Their news story today has been about how she is being given legal aid in order to fight her case about wanting to still be a British citizen, now that the state she joined has failed. It is not her taking the case to court, but her family, who are not entitled to legal aid, but because the case will be heard in a British court she has been awarded it.
This is a good example of how the British government does not govern in the best interests of the people that it is supposed to represent. We have British Nationalists in jail on charges they believe would be quashed on appeal, yet they are denied the ability to appeal them, let alone gain legal aid to do so.
In Finland the True Finns Party have narrowly missed winning the election by only 0.2% and the opposition Leftist party have claimed the prize, but there are still votes left to be counted and it may still be the Nationalists yet.
This success bodes well for the EU elections, where it is hoped they will do even better and then form part of Salvini’s new super group of Nationalist parties dedicated to frustrating the EU’s plans to replace Europeans with Arabs and Africans.
With Britain also taking part in the EU elections it is feasible that this supergroup could become the largest in the EU and wield the most influence.
It will be interesting to see the reaction from the Remainers, if that happens.
