You would be hard pressed to find a more inspirational and information packed hour anywhere than right here at The Church of the Lampshade on Radio Aryan. This week is no exception!
We open our pre-sermon discussion this week with thoughts on the manufactured border crisis. Now, you may be asking what I mean by “manufactured”. After all, isn’t what is happening at the border a real crisis? Of course it is, however what we are being told about it and the supposed remedies for it are all just theater. We will discuss why that is, in the context of the other manufactured crisis of this past week; the narrative of supposed ‘Iranian aggression’.
The highlight of this show every week is our sermon in The Church of the Lampshade and believe me, this week is no exception. We will actually manage to finish our “Meaning of Life” series as we go through the book of Ecclesiastes. We will be finishing the final two chapters so you will want to be ready to look at chapters 11 and 12. Before we do this though, we shall also look at Luke 14:25 and Jesus’ admonition that in order to be his disciple, you have to be prepared to hate your mother, father, wife, kids, etc.. Isn’t this admonition counter to what we are told to do in scripture? It is not and we will discuss why that is as we look at the meaning of Christ’s words.
We cover a lot of ground here in The Church of the Lampshade and as a result, there is no snoozing in the pews as you’ll wind up missing so much if you do! Alas, this isn’t a problem because we do also fun all while covering the more serious topics.
