It’s Tuesday and that can mean only one thing: The Church of the Lampshade show! Grandpa Lampshade joins us once again to discuss the hottest topics and the dankest of Christian messages. The show gets rolling with listener questions/comments and the fact the media keeps getting louder and louder, even though they have essentially zero credibility now. In the official sermon segment, GPL will be referencing James 5:1-8 as he expands on the question of whether or not blessings should be equated with worldly wealth and power. In these verses, one discovers a great testimony against the rich and powerful and a pronouncement that those who put their faith in worldly things are building up God’s judgement against them. This requires great patience on the part of the believer. However, patience does not mean the believer is powerless. In fact, just the opposite is true: the believer has much work that he must accomplish.
There are many different shows that produce great content on the internet today. There are highly intellectual shows, there are shows that are funny and entertaining and in fact, one can find a show that fills just about any niche they might be interested in. However there is only one show that is informative, thought provoking and ministers to the spiritual nature in the way this show does and that’s The Church of the Lampshade.
