Sven Longshanks looks at calls to remove online anonymity after the brutal murder of Sir David Amess.
Despite the killer being an Islamic extremist, the mainstream narrative is that hate speech and social media posts were to blame.
Anonymity online is just a way to ensure privacy so that people can say how they truly feel and if you remove someone’s voice, they only have physical action left to communicate with.
